My name is Danny Jager and I am currently studying Software Engineering at the Hanze University of Applied Sciences. Ever since I started doing web design I fell in love with front-end development. I started out by building simple portfolio websites for myself. This is where I got interested in HTML/CSS/Javascript. After tinkering with these languages, I decided to try something new. That is where I applied for a Drupal internship as a front-end developer and started learning PHP in my spare time. After the internship I applied for the Software Engineering study at the Hanze University of Applied Sciences. I became more interested in programming in general, so I decided to pick up Ruby/Ruby on Rails and Java to increase my knowledge just before the study started. At this point, I have tried a lot of programming languages ranging from C to Python. I have currently the most experience with Java, but my favorite programming language is Python. Languages/frameworks I still want to learn or improve on are: Python (+ Django), Java, C, C++ and Javascript.
